Contacting the Nurses
During office hours, a triage nurse is available to answer your call between 9 am and 4:00 pm with a lunch break from 12-1 pm. Call volume varies on a day-to-day basis and you may be prompted to leave a message. Please allow 48 hours for non-urgent phone calls to be returned. If this is an urgent matter please call us and speak to the front desk staff. Urgent phone calls will be returned by 5 pm the same day. Messages left after 4:30 pm will be addressed the following business day.
Please be aware that as a new patient, we cannot give medical advice or refill prescriptions until you become an established patient. For any urgent matters, please call 911 or contact your previous physician.
During office hours, the doctors’ schedules do not allow for patient telephone calls unless there is an urgent or emergency situation. The nurse will direct your question or concern to your physician. The nurse will call you back with instructions, once the doctor has had the chance to review the message. Nurses triage telephone calls between 9 am and 4:00 pm taking lunch from 12-1 pm.
Healthcare for Women is now offering TELEHEALTH VISITS for established patients only to treat certain medical conditions that do not require a physical exam. Due to COVID-19, insurance companies are covering telehealth at an office level reimbursement. If your insurance company does not cover telehealth services, you are welcome to come to the office for treatment. Our staff will call you in advance to go through the check-in process and collect any money due.
