Dr. Ji Eun Paik was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. After moving to America during her teenage years, she went onto graduate from Smith College, MA, with a degree in chemistry and music with highest honors. She started her medical education at Georgetown University School of Medicine where her passion for women’s health and her desire to educate women developed, and subsequently completed her training in OB/GYN at Georgetown University Medical Center. Dr. Paik was honored with excellence in student teaching during her residency. She continues to be involved with resident and medical student education at Virginia Hospital Center-Arlington.
Dr. Paik is a board-certified OB/GYN who has a special interest in the education of patients. She believes in the importance of a well-informed patient when making decisions in both obstetric and gynecological issues. Experienced in the treatment of high-risk pregnancies and various gynecological issues for women of all ages. Her interests lie in the management of abnormal pap smears and the treatment of menorrhagia (heavy menstruation).
Dr. Paik is a compassionate physician who is excited to provide individualized and comprehensive care for her patients. She is fluent in Korean and proficient in Spanish.
