Dr. Nicole McClendon grew up in Sacramento, California. She attended UC Berkeley and graduated with a double major in Integrative Biology and Anthropology. Her volunteer work at the Berkeley Free Clinic and specialty training in gynecology laid the foundation for her interest in women’s health.
Dr. McClendon achieved a Masters in Public Administration and Public Policy from Cal State Hayward. Despite her focus in public health, she knew that clinical medicine was her calling. She pursued a medical degree from Georgetown University graduating in 2004. Her OB/GYN residency was also completed at Georgetown University Medical Center.
Dr. McClendon’s special interests include caring for the general and high risk obstetric patient, surgical and non surgical contraception options, and infertility evaluation. She is well experienced in the evaluation and treatment of HPV disease/abnormal pap smears.
Dr. McClendon is a caring and compassionate physician who enjoys learning about her patients while providing excellent care. She is fluent in Spanish.
