Class Information

Please review the following important information prior to registering for your classes.

NOTICE: Due to the circumstances, our classes will be held over ZOOM virtual meeting until further notice.  You will receive an email from Healthcare For Women with instructions on how to attend the class virtually with ZOOM.

From North George Mason Dr., follow the signs to the ZONE A BLUE PARKING garage next to the main hospital entrance (1625). You will then take two sets of elevators: the garage elevators to the main lobby and the main elevators to the fourth floor. Please follow the signs to Suite 474.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: the parking garage is managed by the hospital, thus we are unable to validate parking. The hospital charges $5 per day for parking. Please allow enough time to find parking to avoid being late to your appointment.

You can cancel your registration up to 7 days prior to class date. Keep in mind that there will be no refunds for classes except for medical conditions. To cancel your class, please send your request to

If you register within the cancellation period (7 days prior to class date), a transfer/reschedule or cancellation will not be allowed.

Class refund will only be issued for a medical condition. Requests for a refund must be accompanied by a physician’s note and are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please allow fifteen days for a refund to be processed.  Requests should be sent to

Healthcare for Women reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment, inclement weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. Under these circumstances, if you are unable to transfer/reschedule the class or the class is no longer available, you can request a refund by calling 703-528-6300 or sending an email to

You are welcome to transfer or reschedule your class up to 14 days prior to class date. All registrants are entitled to ONE class transfer or reschedule per class. Repeated request for transfers or reschedule will not be granted.

Healthcare for Women follows Federal Government for cancellations. If the Federal Government is closed, then classes are cancelled. If you still have questions about a class being cancelled during office hours (Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 4:45 pm), please call 703-528-6300. If classes are held on Saturday or Sunday, someone from the office will contact you about the status of the class. We will try to accommodate you in our next available class.

Healthcare for Women does not submit to insurance companies for reimbursement of childbirth education classes. Since there are no medical procedure and diagnosis codes associated with this type of classes, we cannot bill insurance. Most insurance companies do not cover childbirth education classes.
